Dr. Kevin Johnson, DBA is the President of Johnson Management Group, LLC and Life After Sports, LLC. Received an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration, from Broward College a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Science in Sports Administration and a Doctor of Business Administration in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University. Currently, he is the Director of Student Success and Retention at St. Thomas University.

Dr. Johnson’s experience coupled with his education has been a great asset to the sport industry for many years. His academic experience as a professor at St. Thomas University, Johnson & Wales University, ASA College and Broward College has given him the opportunity to teach a plethora of Business Administration and Sports Management courses. Recently, he has co-authored a best-seller book called, “Stereotypes of a Black Male.” In addition, Dr. Johnson is a founder and podcaster of his show called “Life After Sports.”

Dr. Johnson is a recipient of “South Florida’s Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” by Legacy Magazine “40 Under 40”. He is also a recipient of the “Rising Star Excellence” award from the Urban League of Broward County, Young Professionals Network. Dr. Johnson is an active member within the community areas of education and as well as a mental health advocate. He is currently Vice Chair of the Broward Advisory Board and Chair of the Children’s Literacy Initiative Broward Development Committee, Vice Chair of the board of Healing Arts Institute of South Florida International. Lastly, he is a member of the National Society of Black Sports Professionals (BSP Miami Chapter) in his role as a PR and Communication Chair.
