Vernicca Wynter is a Community Mental Health Worker. She is a Certified Social+Emotional Intelligence Coach and a Certified Mind-Body Medicine Group Facilitator, specializing in social-emotional strategies and initiatives that impact individuals and organizational culture. She was born and raised in South Florida. Vernicca graduated with a Masters in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. She is an alumna of Howard University and the University of Miami with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology & Communication Studies.

After navigating growing up with a parent with mental illness, she came to embrace the importance of emotional wellness. Through the years, she learned more about the stigma associated with mental illness as well as its prevalence and impact in our communities. Vernicca discovered her own need for emotional awareness and healing, which led her on a journey of using mindfulness to positively impact her life and those around her in personal and professional growth.
